Ingredients:
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1/2 cup onion, minced
- 1 T. garlic, minced
- 2 T. tomato paste
- 2 T. chili powder
- 1 T. prepared yellow mustard
- 1/4 t. cayenne
- 1 1/2 cups beef broth
- Salt to taste
Instructions:
- Saute beef in a large saute pan over medium-high heat until cooked through.
- Add onion and garlic, and cook 1–2 minutes. Crush meat with a potato masher to a fine consistency.
- Stir in tomato paste, chili powder, mustard, and cayenne; cook 1 minute.
- Add broth, bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer until liquid evaporates, about 10 minutes.
- Season with salt.
