Holland Log & Cedar Homes will build your walls of tongue-and-groove northern white cedar log components because of their superior durability, higher thermal capacity, and excellent "R" value (ability to resist heat transfer). Our insulated log homes use modern technology such as polystyrene, fiberglass, and cellulose, thus increasing the overall R-value of your log home, plus we kiln dry all our wood rather than air-dry, or season them, so the moisture content is much less. Cedar is also naturally resistant to mold, mildew, insects, and rot, and helps eliminate warping, shrinking, and splintering.
Whether you want rustic or contemporary, we make sure your new residence is designed to match your tastes. Permanent dwellings, cottage getaways, guest houses, or additions can be custom designed or created from one of our 63 existing floor plans. We can even apply our Cedar Classic logs to an existing structure.
