FLOE International
Readers who spend their free time enjoying ATVs, snowmobiles or living on the lake are no doubt familiar with the products manufactured by FLOE International. Every product FLOE makes is designed to make people’s lives easier. FLOE products must be unique and better than what is on the market in order to have the FLOE name on it.
Owner Wayne Floe was just nineteen years old when he began manufacturing and selling boat lifts and dock systems. Wayne incorporated his unique designs with product improvements that stemmed from his exposure to unsatisfactory options while providing dock/lift installation and removal services in high school. He never expected that business to lead to an international company.
35 Years later, FLOE International is a 200+ employee company occupying over 168,000 square feet of space in their manufacturing facilities in Minnesota, land of 10,000 lakes.
One thing that has remained the same since 1983 is the company’s innovation. With more than 70 patents over the years, FLOE products have a reputation for providing innovative features and strong value for the price. Features like their roll-in docks “Easy-Level™” legs - a technology that allows the homeowner to level the dock using a cordless drill while standing on the dock. The Quick-Connect™ system makes it easy to connect and disconnect each section to create a customized dock system with adjustable wheel kits on every section.
The marine product line also includes a variety of dock accessories, such as benches and furniture that can be attached to provide dock seating. Other accessories include bumpers, cleats, swim ladders, steps and handrails.
FLOE offers an extensive line of boat lifts sized for personal watercraft on up to pontoons or cruisers. Their patented boat lift Easy-Level™ system for effortless leveling of lifts and their Ball-Screw lift technology which is easier to use, quieter and more efficient than other brands are just a few FLOE innovations.
Another breakthrough from FLOE is the Cargo Max trailer. The Cargo Max’s rugged technology combines strength, functionality and style. The Ultra-body is constructed with high-density UV protected polymer that’s lightweight and impact-resistant. It won’t rust, rot or ever need paint. The precision engineered aluminum frame is fully welded, ensuring extreme rigidity and durability. There is nothing like it in the industry making Cargo Max a game changer.
FLOE recently completed an 80,000 square foot expansion for manufacturing Cargo Max Trailers and boats under its FLOECRAFT division. The Afina Yacht was born out of frustration when Wayne couldn’t find the right boat for his needs - so he designed one. The 39’6” boat has a single-level design making it usable from bow to stern. Designed to stretch the season, it provides climate-controlled comfort and all-weather protection. The Grandview cabin can be completely closed or opened up in various stages with its power windows and roof.
All FLOE products are sold through their professional dealer network across the US and Canada.
FLOE is always looking forward and inventing the next big breakthrough in their diverse industries. Look for the next break through innovation from FLOE in the near future.
