While sailing with his son on the Somerset Reservoir in Vermont, a man noticed a squirrel that was attempting to cross the ¾-mile-wide reservoir. After trying unsuccessfully to lure the squirrel aboard their small vessel, the man decided to jump in and rescue the exhausted critter.
