VIDEO: Fawn Rescue

While following its mother, this young deer managed to wedge itself between the iron bars of a gate. Luckily, a kind-hearted human comes along during a rainstorm and frees it. The fawn emits desparate cries during the brief rescue, but the baby deer soon ambles away and reunites with its mother. The fawn appears to have suffered minor injuries before the human arrived, but the animal now has a fighting chance of survival.
