Not your everyday eggs, this savory treat will wake up the sleepyheads. Well worth getting out of bed for! If you’re using a nonstick pan, you can substitute nonstick spray for the butter. Makes 6 servings.
6 eggs
1?2 cup cooked bacon or ham (chopped)
1 tablespoon water
2 tablespoons milk
1 teaspoon salt
1?2 teaspoon black pepper
1?2 tablespoon onion soup mix, or to taste
1?2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon butter
1 cup Monterey Jack cheese
In a mixing bowl, lightly beat eggs with a fork. Add remaining ingredients except butter and cheese, and mix well. Let sit for about 10 minutes to let the onions in the soup mix absorb some of the liquid. Melt butter in medium-hot skillet. Add egg mixture, and scramble until light and fluffy. Garnish with cheese.
