Just outside downtown Gatlinburg this cabin is located in the winding hills of the Smoky Mountains. Housed within a cabin community, it’s just one of many A-frames in the area. Rich wood walls and flannel print bedding provide a country lodge feel. The living room is wide open with exposed wooden beams.  A loft bedroom upstairs with a private bath is the perfect backdrop for string lights. This cabin was the chance to reclaim a piece of the owner's history and return to her origins by purchasing the A-frame cabin perched along the Sturgeon River’s banks. The interior of the cabin is a style I describe as Elevated Hygge. It is a masterful combination of coziness and sophistication. The wall of the cabin facing the river is made from a grid of glass panes, inviting the outdoors in and framing breathtaking vistas of the river. For A-frame lovers, this cabin is nothing short of a nostalgic dream come true.
