Blankets
Add a splash of color to an otherwise dreary room with a high-quality blanket. My favorite brand is Tribe & True. If you are looking for something a little more cost effective, you can never go wrong with the multi colored blankets found in many tourist shops and gas stations. They are usually in the $10-$20 range. Although they are smaller and often there are less prints to choose from, they’ll still get the job done. I have about five of ’em!
Camp Mugs
Tin mugs make great photo props as well as souvenirs. They look great in kitchen photos and they are a perfect accessory to hold when you’re not sure what to do with your hands. Etsy has many unique options to choose from.
Candles
Sure they smell great, but candles also make an excellent decoration for any cabin stay. It makes any room look oh-so-cozy. A brand I love is Voluspa.
Wood Stove
Can you stay at a cabin without one? Sure. Will it be missing that something special - you bet! Find our favorite brands of wood stoves over at Woodland Direct.
Books
You’re going to need to pack a few books if you want to cuddle up and read the next to that fire! We suggest Cabins by Phillip Jodidio. This gorgeous book highlights unique cabins from around the world and will have you already planning your next cabin adventure.
Letter Boards
Whether you’re giving others a heads up on your mood for the day, writing a clever phrase, or creating a countdown, letter boards are the perfect way to communicate something special in your cabin space. I love this retro board I found on Amazon.
Rugs
Patterned, furry, or brightly colored, I enjoy them all! You can dress up any room with a unique rug.
Flannel
No cabin experience is complete of these timeless tops.
Instant Camera
Not only do these cameras look awesome on a bookshelf, they help you capture your favorite cabin memories. I have a Fujifilm Instax Mini and adore its retro design.
String Lights
These are my favorite cabin accessories and you’ll never catch me without them. They create a magical ambiance to any dwelling. You can turn the drabbest of rooms into a cozy oasis with these twinkling lights. Target has a great selection to choose from.
