Mathijs Delva was taking a solo hike near the town of Vikersund in southern Norway. After five days of going through a protected area, not seeing a single car, road, track or person, he reached a spot near a small lake where this charming cabin sits perched on the water’s edge. It was deserted for the summer season, likely used as a winter cabin for a popular ski resort nearby. Mathijs says, “It’s beautifully located and was lit by the last 11 p.m. sun.”
